Cruel Fate of a Finger Puppet

So aside from watercoloring and drawing my friends whilst in Paris, I'm also working on getting some ideas submitting to Threadless T-Shirts. After 3 days of drawing and redrawing, I've finally got something submitted for critique. If anybody feels like signing up and offering some feedback, you can check it out here:

Signing up means you can score me when I do an official submit... and scoring means I might get accepted for print! :)

Lucha Libre

Blogger: Michael R Schofield, Esq.

so we found this great bar in Paris the other night, Lucha Libre.. they had a bunch of mexican beers, which you don't see much here, but also, in the basement (more of a cellar/cave with really not enough head room for the guys to do real jumps) they had real Lucha Libre wrestling. it was balls hot down there, but also incredible. check out the video:

Mac and Cheese Update and Tennis

So it's Friday already, and I'm a little late with our mac update from Monday. I actually have photos this time, which I'll add later when Mike gets back from the hardware store with the camera.

We ended up doing goat again because all the frommageries are closed on Mondays and we couldn't find Feta at the Monoprix. But we did change up the ingredients, using cherry tomates, greek olives, parsley and a shallot. Still really really good. Especially those tomates after they'd baked in the oven for 20 minutes. And breadcrumbs.

Yesterday, we headed out for our first game of tennis. Mike reserved a court around the corner from the appartament... and I woke up wishing it would rain thinking how cold it was going to be. As it turned out, it was one of the nicest days so far weather wise... the sun was out and it wasn't cold at all, and all this at 10 a.m. Anyways, we played for an hour and even had a few volleys going (maybe up to 6). I think just about every part of me is sore today, but we plan to go back on Monday and reserve the court for 2 hours this time. It was fun.... Kathy, you should try it out!

Luxembourg

At the end of our Germany trip, we stopped for a couple of days in Luxembourg City of Luxembourg the country. The city's website is prettier than the Wiki. It's a really pretty place all hilly and misty and stuff. The picture shows part of one of the 95 bridges they have there. We just stayed one night there, in the only hostel close to the city center... a little room with 3 bunk beds in it, every one of them full. Mike and I squeezed into the one above Andy's. With no ceiling fan and 7 people, it got a little stuffy and when we first walked in all you could smell was socks. Eventually it either went away, or we all got used to it. So we lay, breathing each other's breath and trying not move because warning, crude ahead you could have heard a mouse fart in there, and actually there were a few... none of which were mine. Woot!Luxembourg

More Catacombs

We had a pretty lazy weekend just past, with yesterday spent recovering from the big party we had on Saturday. We even had a pretty decent Shoulders circle going on for awhile, and almost made it to 20... the Schofields actually, but unfortunately didn't throw it out right, so no rules were made.

So that being said, really no new pictures, so here's more from the catacombs.
